Electrophysiology - Patch clamp technique & MEA

167 - Analyse-Voie-Signa

Service description

Electrophysiology is the study of events occurring in tissues such as neurons or muscles and also in cells. There are different techniques to measure intracellular and extracellular ion currents. Classical techniques such as patch-clamp are used widely in the study of the nervous system. New techniques have been developed such as the multi-electrode array (MEA) which allows extracellular recording of a brain slice. It also provides an overview of the neural network.
