Additionally, samples from healthy donors can be difficult to find, as no medical indication justifies the collection of samples from healthy patients.

Labtoo can be mandated in a fully customized mission to look for any type of human or non-human biospecimen, fresh tissues, Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE tissues), or frozen. We work with hospitals, biobanks, and CROs to look for the best samples according to specific needs, with all regulatory and legal requirements handled.
Healthy samples are typically collected through prospective collections. Therefore, our team of scientists will first look for options already in sample biobanks or collections and compatible with the requirements of the project. In a second step, a prospective clinical collection can also be started when necessary. Healthy-like tissues, like tumor resection adjacent tissues, can also be collected.
