Service description

  • New DNA analysis technologies allow scientists to analyze genetic information over long fragments, separating genomic DNA from smaller fragments such as plasmids or mitochondrial DNA.
  • This facilitates the discovery and detection of complex genetic events, such as structural variants (insertions, deletions, or chromosomal rearrangements).
  • This method allows the migration of DNA on electrophoresis gel in 2 dimensions in order to separate the fragments according to their size initially, then to recover in large quantities these intact fragments (up to 2 Mb).
