Plasmid expression vector subcloning

43.1 - VecteurClonage

Service description

Sub-cloning corresponds to a molecular cloning in which the gene of interest is integral to a fragment that can be simply cut and paste into a new plasmid vector. This process is an alternative to a DNA amplification of the gene prior to its insertion in a vector DNA.

Materials to provide

  • Sequence inserted in the origin plasmid
  • Map of the plasmids
  • Target plasmid

Further details on the project may be requested.

You will be able to exchange directly with the experts after filling in the form below.

Typical deliverables

  • Bacterial clone on paper, glycerol or agar
  • Prep of purified DNA
  • Sequencing of the insert
  • Map of the plasmid with cloning strategy
  • Study following the specifications validated with the Expert
