Microscale thermophoresis (MST) is a technology for the biophysical analysis of interactions between biomolecules.
This technique is based on the detection of a temperature-induced change in the fluorescence of a target as a function of the concentration of a non-fluorescent ligand.
MST is used to measure interactions in real-time, without partner immobilization, and in all types of complex biological buffers or liquids.
Microscale thermophoresis can, with low sample quantities, provide information on affinity constants for a range of affinity between nM and mM, with high accuracy and affinity.
